I spent 2013 living in Germany on exchange, and it was great! I met plenty of awesome people from all over the world. If you speak German, feel free to write to me in German!
I was born in New South Wales but moved to Adelaide when I was 5, so I feel that Adelaide is my home. I moved to England with my family when I was 16 and came back 8 years later with my sister. I have a brother who is a pilot living in Australia too, my other brother is married and lives in England in the same village as my parents. His wife recently gave birth to a beautiful daughter!
I went to university in Wales and studied Psychology. on completion of that degree however, I decided I didn't want to be a psychologist any more! Currently I am studying a Bachelor of Teaching/Arts double degree, with German as my major and English Literature as my minor. I would love to teach English as a Second Language to adults who WANT to learn.
I *love* travelling, and have visited several countries in Europe. I want to be the first in out family to visit Asia, South America and New Zealand - My father was the first to go to Europe and North America, my sister is the only one of us who has visited Africa.
I really enjoy drinking tea, it is so refreshing and comforting. I'd much rather share a chat over a cuppa than go out to the pub, although I do enjoy beer and am considering brewing my own.
I'm always curious about people and what they like and I like to hear about different cultures, local traditions, weather, random facts, anything really.

I really love to sing, and I have been in various choirs for over 20 years. I like to play musical instruments, but I'm not particularly good at it.
I like most postcards, but I'm particularly collecting music themed, beer and tea related cards. Please do not send ad-cards, unless they have an awesome picture on the front. Hand-made cards are welcome, But please put some effort into it and try to make it match my interests. So far I have received a wonderful 'scrap-booked' tea themed card and one made from a special beer label and a map. Both awesome!
Tourist cards of your locale are always welcome. Bulidings, bridges, transport, sculptures - anything that makes your home stand out - Especially if your town is famous for something interesting, like brewing beer or music or any famous person.
Happy writing, and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
P.S. Don't forget to include the postcard ID and the date you sent the card, and if possible, please use a pretty or interesting stamp!
