Hello fellow Postcrossing friends,

I am looking forward to receiving cards from you and I know I will really enjoy writing to you wherever you are.
One of my favourite things to do is write letters and cards to family, friends, and it thrills me to write to people I don't know. I think it's so much nicer for people to receive personal letters, cards in their mail box instead of the usual bills and junk mail. I really look forward to receiving a card from you.
I have travelled to Holland, Spain, Italy, Singapore, Jamaica, Malaysia, Switzerland, USA, Antigua, Bermuda, St. Lucia.
My hobbies are: scrapbooking, writing, reading - thrillers/mysteries, biographies, history, dystopian, military (I belong to two reading groups), dinner/theatre, knitting scarves & hats for street people, participating in 5K run/walks to raise funds for various organizations, and just recently Postcrossing.
Many years ago I emigrated from England to Canada and live in Calgary in the beautiful province of Alberta.
I have two grown sons and four grandchildren between the ages of 10 and 3, also boys. I also have two cats, Emily a black long-hair who thinks she's a princess, and Katie a tabby who is quite the jester.
I am excited to have started this wonderful hobby of postcrossing and look forward to your cards.
