I am a true nomad - born in Poland (Krakow), did high-school in Germany (Nuremberg) and Austria (Vienna), I now reside in Canada.... Got a degree in linguistics and economics from Austria, and a degree in nursing from Canada, and am currently happily retired from law enforcement - and I absolutely love my free time!

I have been a postcard fanatic since 1994, and so far have collected over 49 100 cards (counted in September 2023) from worldwide.
It is my way of traveling, discovering the world and getting educated. One day - I imagine, as age will be standing in the way of me going places in person - I should just open a box filled with CHILE, MAURITIUS or MONGOLIA - and be transplanted....
At age 52, I started paddle-boarding... WHY NOT? So much fun! I took my board to Cuba, Mexico and Jamaica so far - fantastic experience...
I am also a salsa dancer and it is my way of connecting with people around the world, through dance :)

MY PREFERENCES:
- MULTI-VIEWS with landscapes and city images, map collages - NO night images please, NO interiors of buildings, especially churches or museums,
- MULTI-VIEWS with animals in nature - NO ZOO cards,
- MULTI-VIEWS with plants and flowers.

In other words, I appreciate postcards that could take me to a destination without packing a passport/suitcase and leaving the house - postcards that show a location in the most interesting and captivating way....
PLEASE send them in envelope if your postal rate is the same as without one.

I am open to international postcards, not just the ones from your region, AS LONG AS THEY MEET MY PREFERENCES.
I am open to direct swaps of several cards in envelopes, unwritten and in mint condition. TOTALLY INTERESTED IN SERIOUS TRADERS WHO SHARE THE SAME VISION!

PLEASE NO FREE CARDS, AD CARDS OR SELF-MADE CARDS!
NO people, churches, interiors of buildings or museum exhibitions....

I also enjoy traveling, photography, music and dancing, a variety of good cuisine and interesting books - I read ALL the time :)
