About Bluriel...

Hi everyone,

I am Cristina (but my friends call me Bluriel, or Blu for short). I am a software engineer from Romania.

Reading is my first passion, fantasy in particular. My favorite author is Sir Terry Pratchett. :) I love reading fairy tales from all over the world, too (I have a motley collection of fairy tale books I have bought on my travels - my second passion. Fairy tale books and fridge magnets, that is what I usually bring home :D).

In my spare time, I also play World of Warcraft(For the Alliance!), Witcher and Sims and I follow several TV series, my favorites being Doctor Who (Captain Jack Harkness is my personal hero, and I am completely in love with Rose), The Originals (who needs Nicklaus when one may dream of Elijah;) ) and Shadowhunters (Magnus Bane is amazing! - I might or might not have a serious crush on him!)

If you were wondering what I would like postcard-wise...
* Special Spring Wish - books/libraries/people reading :)
* anything fantasy :)
* Doctor Who/Torchwood, Magnus from Shadowhunters <3 (though they still count as fantasy? Maybe?)
* LGBT
* castles - I love them!
* rainbows <3
* unicorns :)
* otters <3
* ships and/or boats
* beer :D (including pubs, breweries, etc)
* sunsets or sunrises
* landscapes
* forests, trees or leaves
* mountains
* colourful flowers
* cute puppies <3
* time keeping devices (clocks, sundials, hourglasses, etc) :)
* birthday cards welcomed in July :)
* any colourful touristic card, really. I like pretty colours :D

And if you're at a loss what to write to me, I would love to hear couple of words about...
* some fairy tale/legend from your country
* your favorite author, book, quote or character
* any traditions or festivals you enjoy in your country

I would prefer non folded, no envelope, handwritten and stamped if possible. But it would be your choice, of course.
I do not celebrate any of the religious holidays, so I would appreciate not getting any religious holiday related cards.

Thank you!

P.S. My favorites is not a wish list :) More like... pretty stuff I have received/seen in other people's galleries. But should be a fairly accurate account of my taste :)

P.P.S. I recently started uploading my received postcards to flickr. But don't worry too much about duplicates, each card is still unique to me :)
