Hello postcrossers all over the world!

It's wonderful that you got my address to sent your card to. I love traveling and as I am stuck at home for a few years it is always a great joy to find a surprise postcard in my mailbox!

My name is Britta (only using 'Blitta' online – a nickname a friend from university invented lately). I am living in Germany, in the south: Munich, Bavaria! You've certainly heard of the famous "Oktoberfest" there... But it is a lovely city besides the big festivity. And I am the one to tell you, because I am working as a historian dealing with Bavarian(!) history all day long ;-) Ok, I do like other activities, too!

I just started post crossing and I am very interested in the first cards!

Actually, I am collecting a lot of postcards with motives like art, drawings, landscapes and historical buildings. Next to doing research I love to draw and write and if there's time left I like to read.

Oh, and, please, write more than just "happy postcrossing" or something like that. I really love fully written cards. I would like to know something about you. Where you live, if you do have children, or/and if you do have animals. Do you have any favourite place where you love spending as much time as possible? Any favorite recipe? Maybe you want to tell me about your day to day life? Also it would be interesting to read about your dreams, things that makes you happy... And if you like, write please something in your native language (of caurse, with a short translation, because it's very interesting to get a small glimpse of your native tongue). And maybe you can just draw something –it is very welcome too!

I love beautiful stamps! If it is possible, use one of them, it makes your postcard even more special.
