Hello!

I love to write. I love buying postcards. I love writing paper. And finally I give myself the time to sign up with postcrossing! In the meantime I have received a lot of postcards from all over the world and I love it ^_^

I'm looking forward to write cards to people in other countries and I can't wait to receive those little gifts on my doormat. In this digital era I just love receiving real mail ^_^

I'm 33 years old and I was history teacher in a high school. I teach children in the ages 12-18. I especially love the history from Eastern Europe, England, Schotland and Ireland and the Netherlands. Off course i'm interested in other countries as well, but those are just my favorites. Because of bad luck I lost my job. Nowadays I work as a Dutch language teacher and I am getting my degree for that. It's pretty hard to work and study, but I am managing it with the support and love of my family and friends.

I love to read, so if you have a nice suggestion, let me know! This might be a nice way to get to know other writers.
If you speak Russian, could you write the postcard in Russian? That way I can practice my Russian a bit. (I was following a Russian course but I had to stop because of my career change. I want to start a serious study in september 2017. I think it's a beautiful language.)

I've got no preferences for postcards, I think it is nice enough if people take the effort to write me a card. I don't mind whether you put the card in an enveloppe or not :) Thank you very much in advance!
(But if you happen to have a card with a cow or a bird on it, I would like it a lot ^_^)
