Hi,
I am Brigitte and I live in a smallish town in Germany.

Though I play computer games offline and online (and waste a lot of time on the internet) I love to get postcards. I always ask friends and family to send some from their holidays. I travel on business regularly and send cards to my family durig my trips. I also collect postcards of the places I visit.

I like to read even though I often lack the time. My favourite author is Terry Pratchett though I read whatever catches my attention. I also like Kathy Reichs, Douglas Adams and not long ago discovered Annelie Wendeberg.

Food is another thing I love, both eating and cooking. I was married to an American, lived in Northern England in a community with a large Pakistani population and like going for a Chinese or Thai meal. I regularly look at food.com or about.food for inspiration and I own a large collection of cook books, both old German and European recipes and modern recipes from all over the world.

I like to get postcards of interesting places but also unusual nature shots, artsy pictures and cartoon characters, like the Moomins and Winnie Poo and Uli Stein. And if you write something about yourself or your home it will be appreciated. I'm curious!
