About Bertland...

Posted on December 2016
My English name is Bertland because I admire Bertrand Russell for His great work had a considerable influence on many fields. I enjoy reading his books.

I'm a sophomore major in Mechanical Engineering in Tongji University, Shanghai.
My avatar is a photo taken under the Sakura at night during the cherry-blossom season.
I enjoy the Classical Music (especially the masterpieces from Bach), Bird-watching, marvelous scenery (especially the starry night) and so on.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
And here are some suggestions for postcards I'd be especially happy to receive:
- Racecar related
- Postallove (Greetings from … Series)
- Sky: starry night, polar lights...
- Classical music related (the music instruments, the famous musician, the music hall, the orchestra...)
- Something special (festival/custom) in your country or city/town
- Artistic Works by Impressists like Monet, Renoir, Degas, Caillebotte, Alfred Sisley, Seurat, Van Gogh
- UNESCO World Heritage Sites
- Mountains: national parks, mountains covered with snow, volcano, great iceberg...
- Waters: waterfalls, ocean, seaside, rivers, lakes...
- Bird/Flower related: Special or national bird from your country
- Football (Soccer) related: Teams, Stars, Stadium...

But keep in mind that this is only a wish list, so don’t worry if you can’t send that kind of postcard.

Remember, more important than the picture on the card is what you write on the back. I enjoy learning something about other countries!

You can also send me envelope with postcard and some other little things (coins, bill-for the shopping, bus or train ticket and a letter about you).
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Attention:
Please, write a date on a postcard.
Please, don't send religious & ad postcards.
Please, write carefully or print your letters and numbers. It's not easy for us Chinese to read clearly some letters and numbers written by some postcorssers.

I want to share the card with my parents. Hence, I would like to know the date and the weather of the day you sent the card!My father collects stamps, so maybe you can surprise him with a nice one on the card. Or if you can send me the postcard in an envelope, so I can have the stamps and keep the beautiful cards as well!

Sometimes postcard may be lost on the way. So please tell me when I don't register your postcard after a long time since you sent it out.

Thanks and best wishes!
送上衷心的感谢!
