Hi!
My name is Ulia and I've recently moved from Russia to Finland for studying in high school. And don't think that I must have gone bonkers to move from one cold place to even superior one, no, the weather is okay here, and I'm not that picky, after all :D
The best thing about living here is not being dependent on anyone, which is quite new for me, but as long as I'm surrounded by English-speaking friends, I don't feel lonely or lost, so it didn't take me long to get accustomed to a new life :)
And since you're my English-speaking friends too, I'd like to get in touch with you as soon as possible! So, if it's not a big deal for you, drop me a line on your postcard, and here are some ideas for you:

-Write about something that happened to you and changed your mood, attitude, or even life, I'll be glad to read about that. It could be anything, if you just saw a cute kitten and it cheered you up, it is also fine :P

-If your country has any weird for foreigners traditions, customs or rites, be sure that I'll read them avidly, I really like this stuff.

-Got anything special you're doing at the moment? Or something you're going to do in the near future? These are things that are important to me as well.

-Piece of your native language would be nice :3

Anyway, it will be a great pleasure for me to read any information you find interesting enough to share :) (the more outstanding, the better ^o^)

Every card I find in my mailbox makes me smile, and I'll appreciate any of them, as you spent your time on me, but there're certain ones that I enjoy mostly, and I'd be awesome if you could choose a card according to some of my preferences:

-Superheroes, which means that any of the Avengers, X-men or others are welcome!

- Anything referring to the following books (or their characters) or the screen versions of books: Sherlock Holmes, Hercule Poirot, The Count of Monte Cristo, Jane Eyre, Consuelo by George Sand, Jeeves and Wooster by P.G. Wodehouse, The chronicles of Narnia.

-Handmade cards, and if they are too fragile, please send them enveloped.

-Vintage cards

-Creative art postcards

-The sights of St. Petersburg or London

But it's absolutely fine if you don't have any cards that fit in, don't take it too seriously :)
