My name is Vlada and I'm 29.
My native language is Russian but I speak English fluently and know the basics of German. I graduated in literature, English and German and now work as a teacher. My students are from 8 to 16. It's quite a challenging job but I like it (sometimes, LOL)
I’m glad to know that someone is reading this at the moment trying to understand who I am and what postcard I might like to get. Actually, it doesn’t matter at all since I will be happy to get any postcard you choose. But if you enjoy picking up a card for every postcosser the system gives you (I do), these are some tips for you. It would be nice to get a card with:
- Сгущенка Анжелы Джерих
- something very national (like cabs and duble-deckers in England, tulips and windmills in Holland, etc.)
- ♥books
- writers
- book characters and illustrations
- libraries
- diaries, pads, envelopes, letters, scrolls, etc.
- ladies and gentlemen in old-fashioned beautiful clothes
- Persian cats
- people in your country's national clothes
- your place view cards
- ♥LILAC (or any other purple flowers like lavender, for instance.
I like them so much!)
- moomins
- owls
- actors and actresses (esp. Audrey Hepburn, Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh)
- painters and paintings
- witches and magic, supernatural creautures
- chests, murmaids, pirates and treasure; oceans & ships with sails
- lighthouses
- rain and rainbows
- (snow) leopards
- rock groups
- ♥seasonal greetings

I’m very fond of reading which, they say, is not very popular nowadays. Most of all I like the process of reading itself; I adore holding an old paper book in my hands feeling its cover and turning the real paper pages. That’s why I don’t really appreciate e-books and emails. Of course, emails are easier to write and get but the experience is not as exciting as getting a real postcard! I miss those old days when I was small and happy to receive a postcard from my granny.

I am also fond of travelling; I haven't been to many countries, only Abkhazia, Azerbaijan, Croatia, Montenegro, Germany and Holland. My dream is to visit Great Britain and the US one day.

I keep a white Persian cat Kuzya, he's very fluffy and fat:)
I like taking pictures, riding my bike and look out the window when it's raining.

I'm an adult person (almost always!:)) but enjoy playing the Sims 3 and even write my own stories, illustrating them with pictures from the game. It's such a fun. Creating sims and playing with their lives are something like being a god:)
