Hallo,

my name is Barbara. I live in Darmstadt, Germany. I'm 53 years old. My son Joris is 16years old. We had 2 Guinea pigs, Kira and Spikey, but they died in July 2015 - it was very dramatic and we are very sad about their death. But since nearly 9 years we have 2 cats, Lucy and Paul! They are wonderful MainCoon! Very big and loveley cats! Cats are great pets - but you never can let stay food or other things to play on your table....haha....But never the less - It's wonderful for a children to grow up with animals!!

So, now you know a little bit about my little family ;-)! Yes, it's long, long ago I had time to come to postcrossing - but this is about my new job since August 2019: I go again to school to became an "Erzieher" ! And with a little big boy - I have a fulltime job - and NO TIME...! But now I try to send more postcards, that my postbox and Joris have fun!!!

Now something about my "wishes":
I prefer postcards which shows something from your town or your region/country (different views/multiview the best - it shows a LOT of your country!)! Also I love funny cards, black and white, special cards, selfmade cards are welcome too...

I also like cards from Kaj Stenvall - wonderful drawings with ducks!! ;-) I think Joris will like it too ;-)! And other nice drawing cards - like Helme Heine, he is a great, funny drawer!! And other...(in my Postcard wall some favorites!)

Ad-card are ok - but they have to be funny and good looking ;-)
And selfmade cards: Wonderful - it shows a little bit of your own, it's personal; I like it!!

If you have nice stamps - I'm also a stamp collector (no, I don't cut them from the cards, I only be happy to see the wonderful stamps on the wonderful card - only German stamps I collect in an album!)!

AND: Christmas cards in December, Birthday cards in January (Joris birthday is the 11.01.) and March (my birthday is the 08.03.) - this will make us very happy ;-))!!

And tell me something about you, your family, your hobbies, your job, your pets....I'm curious to learn about you! ;-)

Und natürlich freue ich mich auch, wenn ihr mir in Deutsch schreibt - dies ist definitiv die Sprache, die ich am Besten beherrsche ;-)!!

And please write the sending-date on your card!! AND DON'T FORGET THE ID...!!!!!
