Babilonya

Hello!

My name is Kirsten. I live in South Germany. The state I live in is called "Baden-Württemberg" and I live in a small town with about 10.500 inhabitants. The closest bigger city is called Ludwigsburg. That`s in the near of Stuttgart. This city is probably known to most people since it`s the home of „Mercedes“ and „Porsche“.

My hobbies are reading, taking pictures, surfing the Internet, handicrafts.

I love cats. I have got one myself whose name is Isis because she looks like an Egyptian goddess with her mysterious eyes.

Since there`s absolutely nothing interesting in my flat :o( I`ll tell you some things about Ludwigsburg.

In Ludwigsburg there`s a beautiful baroque palace with a neighbouring big park which is called "Blühendes Barock"(translated: Blooming Baroque). There`s also a section included "Märchengarten", in which fairy tales are retold in the form of sculptures, little cottages and underlined with music and pictures and so on. This is very interesting and exciting for children but also for adults. More than 40 different fairy tale stories are being presented there.

Like everybody else I take part in Postcrossing because I hope to get many postcards from all over the world and to send them all over the world myself.
