Hi everyone!
My name is Taniay. I am from Ukraine. I am 24 years old and at present works as a teacher in a small village school. My subjects are Ukrainian language, Ukrainian literature and Foreign literature. To tell the truth, I am crazy about books. Reading is my favourite way to spend free time. I like collecting books and at the moment have my own small library. I don’t know how many books are there, but with every new book there is lesser and lesser free place on bookshelves. My favourite writers are Jane Austen, sisters Bronte, Karen Marie Moning,
Besides books, I have several else hobbies. One of them is gardening. I am fond of roses and orchids, but is the roses likes me and I could enjoy their flowers during all the summer, orchids are more willful so I couldn’t get on with them.
When I have free time, I also try to improve my language skills. My English is not perfect and I understand that, but I also can speak Russian and Polski. This year I started to study German, but unfortunately don’t have much time for this.
I also like anime cartoons and doramas, especially that ones, which are produced in South Korea. If we speak about my favourite countries, it is worth to mention, that I am also keen on Japan and Scotland. It is one of my dreams to visit them.
Among all music styles I prefer rock and alternative music, but sometimes can listen to pop music.
It doesn’t matter what postcard you will decide to send me. The fact, that with help of a small piece of paper I will be able to sense the spirit of other countries is much more important for me. If you are not comfortable to use English, you can write me several words in you native language or even draw something. I will be very glad to receive postcards with some interesting places, worth seeing in your country. You can also write me several words about your favourite books or writers, or write one of your favourite quotes.
