Hello!
I am... a reader, a dreamer, a needlewoman, a Sherlockian, a Gaimaniac, an amateur translator, a bit of a dancer, a bit of a singer, not much of a scholar and nothing like a bore ;) I teach English for income, I like cooking and fantasy books and autumn and winter.
I'm happy with the sheer fact of finding a postcard in the mailbox. It's not that hard to please me. But if you need a hint for what to send, here are some ideas:

- Susan Herbert cats;
- 21 fairies by Inga Paltser;
- Secret Garden by Johanna Basford;

- artprints (especially Pre-Raphaelite);
- Victorian (re)prints, steampunk and retro;
- Medieval and gothic style;
- black-and-white photography;

- images referring to books, possibly with quotes;
- Beauty and the Beast (except Disney);
- Sleeping Beauty (except Disney);
- Madonna and Child;

- "Howl's Moving Castle" by Hayao Miyazaki;
- all and everything by Tim Burton;
- Sherlock BBC;
- LOTR and "The Hobbit" (films and illustrations);

- dragons, fairies, elves, dwarves, unicorns, and any other magical creatures;
- angels, too, but looking serious;
- teddybears, including Tatty Teddies and Blue-Nosed Friends;

- castles, photos of them if there are any in your country, and drawn pictures;
- European cathedrals;
- mills (I'm a great fan of a music group called "Мельница" - 'Melnitsa', the Russian for 'mill', that's why 8));

- wolves;
- birds of prey (hawks, falcons, eagles, kites, owls);
- ravens;

- snowy sights;
- water;
- forests;
- outer space;
- chess;
- clocks;
- silver;
- rain and umbrellas;
- harps and harpists;
- national crafts;
- royal families;

- London and everything connected with UK;
- all things Irish!

If you haven't got any of these, choose something you like yourself and surprise me ;) introduce me to what makes you happy, thoughtful, or inspired. I love everything which is beautiful, graceful, stylish, magical, out of this world. But really, it's not about me to get a specific card - it's all about you to feel like sending it.
My favourite colours are green and violet.
I'm afraid of spiders, but I think snakes are beautiful.
I'm not generally a flower lover, but if there is some kind of artistic idea about the card or it is a botanical drawing, it may be welcome.
If you care to use beautiful stamps, it would be great, but standards are just OK for me. Only please, don't put the stamp too close to the edge of the card, because I prefer to round off the corners with scissors but would hate to damage the stamp.
If you don't know what to write, remember the best thing that happened to you today. I'd love to learn what book you are reading now or just finished and what you think of it.
Keep in touch! :)
