Hi,
I live in a regional town in Victoria, Australia. I have had a nursing career for 30 years but the last couple of years I have been a fulltime artist with my own studio. Although I am mostly tucked away from the world these days, I still have a keen interest in world events and scientific studies. I like to keep on top of things and be broad-minded. I have a wicked sense of humour, a love of life and a vivid imagination!
I have a great husband, 2 adult children (son and daughter), 2 cats (Tiger and Socksy) and used to have lots of chickens (chooks) in the backyard. Now that we have moved into town from the country, my chooks had to find a new home.
My favourite part of the day is sunset, when all is going quiet and I can sit on the back verandah and watch the sun go down. This is particularly wonderful in summer.
Life is busy and it's necessary to take time out to enjoy the simple things.
I would enjoy receiving any type of postcard from around the world as I love finding mail in the letterbox (other than bills!). I think this is a great idea and looking forward to lots of mail the old fashioned way!
