About Elena...

Hi everybody!
My name is Elena. I was born and raised in Moscow, Russia. But I live with my Dutch husband in Belgium. We have a sun of 19 years old.
I understand German so you can send me cards written in that language. I also expect cards written in Russian:) Also can I read a little bit of Polish.

I am interested in travelling, I love holidays when I can visit some countries and explore the history and culture. I love to read good books. My hobby is photography, art, reading, poetry.

I prefer cards from your own country. And please write the date of sending on your postcard.
I`m interested in postcards with:
- beautiful view of your city (SINGLE VIEW),
- typical view of your country (SINGLE VIEW),
- typical things)) of your country(( something what tells
me about your culture, traditions, folk art, national
clothes, national food),
- with people in the city, streetview, houses,
- books( for example - Alice in Wonderland etc. ) &
people reading, writing, libraries,
- (Children's)Book illustrations,
- art(paintings etc.) of your country,
- cards with works of famous photographer of your country,
- public transport - trams, buses,
- metro-map,
- from Finland - "Old ladies" by Inge Löök,
- black-and-white postcards.

Cards I do NOT like at all:
• Free
• Advertising
• Cards that you print yourself!

I try to choose postcards that fit to your profile or your wish-list - if possible of course - and even try to choose the right stamps. I hope you'll try that for me too.
I always write something on the postcard, about the picture on the card, about myself, or ... whatever. I hope you'll do the same when you send me a postcard - so, please, write more than "greetings" and your name.

If you don't have any ideas what to write, heer some ideas:

- Something about yourself,
- Do you have any recommendations for book or movies,
- Any tips what to visit in your area,
- What make you smile today,
- Your favorite recipes of national cuisine
- a line of a poem or a poem from a poet from your country, translated in English, French, Polish, Russian, German, Netherlands.

Would you like to write something in your native language?

And please write the date when you send postcard.
I'm looking forward to your cards!
I register all postcards that I receive.

Good luck!
Happy Postcrossing!
