Applegrove

Woodingford Lodge is a Long-Term Care Facility (Nursing Home) and Applegrove is the unit we live on. We are no longer able to travel, but are still very much interested in the world around us.

The Postcards you are sending have created a lot of interest. We now have a Postcard Club; we get together and discuss your Postcard and just love to read your messages. We talk about the picture and the stamps you have chosen for us and we love those little stickers so many of you use to lovingly decorate the back of the Postcard.

Not just do we use it as a group activity, but we also use it as a 1-1 activity for residents that prefer to stay in their rooms. Some of them are starting to ask if we got mail and are looking forward to another visit from recreation staff with your Postcard.

Postcrossing is a very positive activity for us.

Send us any Postcard you like. Either a view from your city or any other Postcard you think will brighten our day.
