I am Anupama. I am originally from India but am currently studying in Singapore, where I am pursuing my PhD in Biological Sciences. I love doing a lot of outdoor activities - scuba diving, hiking and exploring nature in general. I like travelling. I also love reading books especially fantasy fiction and collect bookmarks. In addition, I enjoy doing art and crafts, a hobby I picked up from my mom. I do a bit of sketching and pastels when I get the time and have started learning digital painting. I love color and the vibrancy it brings to life which is why I think my PhD also has to do with color!!

I love the idea of Postcrossing because I feel it lets me connect to people and their lives in different parts of the world, in addition to receiving lovely postcards! Therefore, I would love to hear about your hobbies, your work, your culture or city or anything interesting that you would like to share. Here are some themes of postcards I would prefer though I am not too particular. However, I would really not like to have postcards of cities or city views.

1) Art- digital, animated, cartoony
2) Nature - Animals, Landscapes, seasons
3) Coffee or anything related to it
4) Color - Paints, cupcakes or anything which is colorful
5) Books
6) Lights
7) Maps of places or cities
