About Aleksandr...

Greetings !
I'm 47 years old.
I'm an aspiring photographer.
In early childhood, I disassembled three of my father's cameras with a screwdriver. I was very interested in the mechanism behind the scenes in the camera. I don't remember his reaction. In the last century, after my first salary, I bought a camera - Zenit-122 with TTL. Since 1995, I have not parted with the camera. Since then I have had cameras such as: Zenit, Olympus SP350, Canon D500, D50, Canon D70, Canon D5 mk III. I have never studied the art of photography. I read a lot of articles and taken many pictures. My education: 1.5 years studied to be an agronomist and 5 years studied to be a military pilot did not teach me Art. All this was in the last century, now I am retired and I am entertaining myself as much as I can.
I have accumulated a very large archive of photos on any topic. I decided that I would make postcards from my photos on the subject desired by the recipient. Postage stamps are also selected at the recipient's request, if possible.
I am printing a photo on the desired subject for the recipient. I'm printing a postcard spread on thick cardboard. I glue them together and dry the glue with an iron. After that, I stick the stamps on and dry them again. Then I cover the front side of the postcard with varnish (spray) to protect it from water and scratches. I dry it, iron it, take it to the post office.
I hope I will please you with my postcards ! Also hope, my postcards will become your favorites !
As for me, I will be pleased to receive any postcard. I don't have any preferences, the World is big and diverse! Send me what you want to say or what you have. One request - write legibly. I have already received 2 postcards via Postcrossing (July 2023)! But, I couldn't read everything written by hand.
Good communication to all of us !
