Hello!

My name is Ekaterina. I live in the beautiful city of St. Petersburg, Russia.
I like postcards as much as other paper products like bookes, notebooks, bookmarks, pocket calendars, stickers, posters and so on. My love for paper, colors, and textures was the reason for my choice of future profession. I study printing technologies and graphic arts at my university.

At my free time I like read books. I haven't certain favorite genres. At the moment my favorite books are Illusions by Richard Bach, The Woman in the Dunes by Kōbō Abe and Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury. That's the best books about faith that thoughts can turn into things, the concept of freedom and duty, and the magic of reality respectively.

I really like birds. This may seem unusual, but my favorite ones aren't eagles, owls, or different wild birds. My favourite group is poultry I even had white male quail in cage as a pet.

My favorite part of postcrossing is a selection of postcards and stamps. I'm really happy when my postcard matches with someone's wishlist and makes someone smile.
I enjoy every card I receive, the only thing makes me sad is card without any message.

* Lighting sources: lanterns, street lamps, candles
* Night views of cities
* Wildlife of your country
* Reserves and national parks
* Photos or realistic illustrations (not cartoons) of livestock (cows, donkeys, etc.) and poultry (chickens, ducks, etc.)
* Animals of Australia
* Wild rodents (especially dormouse)
* Hedgehogs, chinchillas
* Pumpkins (not Halloween)
* Fantasy, magical, surreal, fairytale, dream, space illustrations
* Inkognito
* Star Trek (TOS)
* Paddington Bear
* TBBT
* David Tennant
