About Nikita...
Dear postcrossers!
My name is Nikita. I live in the Russian Far East in a city known as Vladivostok.
I'm a linguist and an interpreter/translator. I work at an opera theatre where I am in charge of international and guest projects.
I indulge in different kinds of art - particularly in dramaturgy, theatre and drawing (my avatar is a fragment of my self-portrait). Besides, I enjoy various games - PC, tabletop RPGs and wargames and so on.
My preferred postcards are:
- vintage, pin-up, Art Nouveau;
- folk, tribal and ethnic motives like stone idols and shamans;
- pictures of local modern artists;
- jazz, tango and similar styles;
- folklore creatures (ESPECIALLY fairies);
- psychodelic, surrealistic and abstract images;
- sci-fi or fantasy landscapes;
- anything connected with theatre (if your local theatre has a shop, please send me postcards from there, I collect them);
- stained glass images;
- animals and birds: foxes, ravens, kingfishers and red cardinals;
- maps, schemes, tables, blueprints etc.;
- coats of arms and associated symbols;
- sports: weightlifting;
- Shakespeare and his plays (Hamlet and Midsummernight's Dream are on top of the list);
- medieval manuscript images;
- painted city views;
- open space;
- steppes;
- anything related to ships, fleets (trade or military);
- city railways.
Any other themes are welcome, too.
I speak English, German, Spanish and Russian, though I'll be happy to receive postcards in any languages (and will try my best to translate them).
Thank you in advance!
