Hey all!

I registred because I saw a report about a postcrosser on german TV =)
And I always loved getting postcards!

Getting postcards from all over the world is a exciting thing to "travel" around the world.

My name is Andrea, almost 32 years old and I live in a small city "in the middle between Munich and the alps" in the beautiful bavarian countryside. I've been working in (big and small) hotels in and around Munich, mostly as a receptionist for 9 years, but over 4 years ago I changed to a law firm and I'm now working as a legal assistant there.
Since I saw the first Lord of the Rings movie about 18 years ago I'm a big fan of Tolkiens Universe and Fantasy in general. One of my lifetime goals is to travel to New Zealand and I'd be soo happy to get a postcard from there. I was in Scotland earlier in 2018 for 11 days and also fell in love with that country. I hope to come back soon and of course I'd love to get a postcard from there.
History is also a very big point in my hobbies. I love going on medieval markets/renaissance fairs. We have some very cool ones here in Germany/Austria!
Some more hobbies would be skiing, reading (mostly historical/fantasy novels), beeing in the nature, with animals or with my loved ones.

Here are some of my favourite themed cards/my interests, but if you think of something else I would like, why not. (You can also have a look in my favourite cards) I once received a card from a far away country but it actually was a card from another country and not the senders country itself... that was a bit sad, because I would have loved to get just ANY card out of that far away country - no matter what was on it :-(

- Horses (one of my fave animals)
- Aurora Borealis/Northern Lights/Aurora Australis
- R.M.S. Titanic (the story of that ship fascinates me!)
- beautiful landscapes / countrysides from where you live
- different cultures and traditions
- sights from where you live
- big citys (NYC, Sydney, Tokio, ...)
- if you're from the US/Canada and there were some native american tribes near where you live I'd love getting some interesting cards with that topic as well
- I don't mind getting multiview cards =)
- write something more than just "happy postcrossing" on the card. what exactly doesn't matter

And I'm a big fan of british actors... Mostly Tom Hiddleston and Mark Strong... but I don't think they have their own postcards (yet) ;-)

And please upload a picture of the card, because it always takes quite a while until I can upload a picture. Thanks =)
