Hi! My name is Amy, I'm 40 years old. I have lived in The Netherlands since the age of 5, but originally I'm from Egypt. I joined postcrossing to receive real mail instead of e-mail and because I'm interested in other people, cultures and countries. Also, I'm planning to make a postcard wall in my house :-)
My hobbies are reading, music, dancing, film, theatre and cooking. I also like to travel and buy postcards from my destination, so I don't always send Dutch postcards, but postcards from wherever I have been.

I have no special preferences; just write whatever you like, whatever is on your mind; maybe something about yourself, your country, a saying, a joke, a secret...
If you like to cook like me, I wouldn't mind receiving recipes. I also like cards with dancers or books on them, but any other card is fine too.
If you could write the date on the card, that would be great.
