About Piotrek...

Hi, everyone!

I live and work in Glasgow where I stayed after graduating from MSc course last year.

I studied here Geotechincs which is strongly linked with one of my passions, i.e. bridges. In the past, I have already worked as a bridge engineer for two years.

As you can guess from the previous paragraph, I collect postcards with bridges :) so if you are chosen to send me a postcard just buy one with a bridge from your country that you like or you are proud of, or the only one you can find :)

I have already found out that it is really difficult to fulfill some of your demands ;) I do not know how easy it is to get a bridge postcard in your country. I don`t mind if you spend more time on finding the one :) If you do not find a postcard with a bridge try to send me one with something related to geology (volcano, sea/ocean cliffs, rocky seashore, craters, river valleys, rocks, minerals etc) or simply some beautiful landscape (mountains would be the most desirable).

I would really appreciate some basic information about chosen bridge on the backside of the postcard. I do not mean technical data, just something about where it is situated, when it was built, and why you have chosen this one not another :)

Even though I am not a student any longer I love studying and learning new things. So teach me something! Write down about something that you think I might not know about. It can be anything, e.g. some amazing or weird animal that lives in your region, strange/funny/exciting event in your home town, world-famous person born in your place, some simple recipe, historical event, just anything! Be creative! Thanks in advance for being my teacher :)

If you are Polish use our native language :), if you know Spanish write in this language as I am keen on learning it (try to write legibly, please).

Thanks in advance for all your postcards,

Enjoy postcrossing as much as I do thanks to people like you!

Cheers,

Piotrek
