Hey, everybody!

My name is Alina, I'm 23 and I`m Ukrainian🇺🇦 studying and living in Germany already for 5 years now.
Only in January I was happily spending the winter holidays at home with my family, I flew back to Germany and just shortly after that, in February, Russia barbarically invaded my country and, contrary to any notion of humanity is committing nothing less than genocide against the Ukrainian people. Now I don't know when I will be able to see and hug my parents again and I can't even be sure of their safety for a second. If you ever hear about discrimination against Russians, think about it, isn't this a real discrimination? Not that you suddenly are not allowed into a some cafes, not the inability to fly on vacation to the desired land, not a slanted look, but this. Think about the hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people like me who no longer have a basic opportunity to see their loved ones and have to fear for their lives. And also about how many people can never be seen again because they are dead. So, if you have the opportunity to help military forces of Ukraine, in any way possible for you, do so. Good must triumph over evil. Thank you🙏

I do like to travel, although currently such opportunity doesn't come up very often, I find it very interesting to learn about cultures of different countries and make new acquaintances all over the world. Besides, I'm pretty fond of handmades of all kinds. I speak Ukrainian, English and Germany, so you can feel free to write me on one of these languages.

I would be happy to read on a postcard whatever you would like to write, the main thing is - don't leave it empty, please. As an idea, you can tell me something about yourself, for example your favourite hobby, food (maybe even a recipe?), music or movie ( I will definitely listen/watch!) or how your usual day looks like. But if you rather art-type, I will also really appreciate some drawings or collages on a postcard:)

I will be happy about any postcard you send, if you proceed from the principle - send what you yourself would be glad to receive. But if you need a hint to make your choice easier, there are some topics in which I'm especially interested:

° Something current (for example, if it`s winter outside, I would be happy to get New year-card);
° Watercolor sketches
° Children;
° Something connected with the family;
° Pregnant women;
° Keep-calm cards;
° Greetings from;
° Cute pets or wild animals;
° Something cozy;
° Sweetnesses, fruits, berries;
° Pleasant views;
° Postcard with a view of a city where you live or where you once were, so you can tell a little about it.
° Bright, unusual cards;
° Cards with recipes;
° Cards with embroidery scheme;
° Something from favorities;
° Harry Potter, Supernatural, Sherlock, Doctor House.

The only request, please, don't send promotional postcards. Quality handmade postcards are welcomed, but please sent them in envelope:)
