Hi! I'm a 40-year old Dutch lady, living in The Netherlands, together with my husband & 2 girls.

In the past I lived and worked in both Tajikistan and Vietnam. I love to travel, so living abroad was perfect for me for the time being.

Right now, 2023, I’m the proud owner of 2 kids fashion stores over here in The Netherlands, which keeps me quite busy! 😉

I started Postcrossing many years ago (2006), in those first years l went to meetings and made so many new friends, both national as international. It gives me warm feelings thinking back to it.
I had a Postcrossing break, but recently brought it back to life...
My 11-year old daughter is addicted to Postcrossing as well by now!

Since I love to travel and discover beautiful places, I'd love to know your own personal "top 3 places to visit"; please write them down on your postcard, that would be awesome!

And I LOVE this:
* images of childrenbooks;
* for the Finnish users: Rudolf Koivu & Martta Wendelin;
* interesting photographs and pictures;
* anything that has to do with tea or coffee;
* cupcakes/cakes/macarons etc;
* anything retro (50's/60's/70's, painted flowers, birds, butterflies, etc.);
* Anne Taintor;
* Alice in Wonderland;
* Silke Leffler;
* pastel colors;
* pandas, capybaras or koalas (as my kids love them);
* cute paintings.

In case you don't have cards like that, don't worry. I'm in for art cards or cards with people as well. There are so many cute and colorful cards out there (just check my favs)...
Please save your tourist cards for those who like them.... ;-)
