Hello,

I was born in thw historical fortress city Târgovişte (Romania), the first Capital of Wallachia (1396 AD). One of the rulers of this city was Vlad Ţepeş, the so called "Dracula". From the great fortress, in the present remains only the ruins.

I live for about 64 years in Bucharest, a very beautiful city with a very diverse architecture.Now I am retired. I was a conservatoire and restaurateur of biological materials at "Grigore Antipa" National Museum of Natural History and "Emil Racoviţă" Institute of Speology of the Romanian Academy.

I have a son, George, married to his beautiful wife Ecaterina. Because they are members of Postcrossing and I always find beautiful postcards for them in the mailbox I decided to sign up myself. I am very happy that I will meet new people from all over the world.
