I think Postcrossing is great, because it can bring smiles to sad faces, but mostly, I think it helps minimize our distances and knowing each other and understand another culture different from our own. An image it's worth a thousand words.

I like postcards with the name of the place they come from written on them. Also with small phrases in languages other than English and I appreciate it you translate it for me.
