Konnichiwa / Hello (◡‿◡✿)

I moved to Tokyo 6 years ago and I live here with my husband, daughter and 3 dogs. I love reading, gardening, cooking, traveling (especially to different prefectures in Japan), playing with my dogs, and just exploring interesting streets and shops around Tokyo. My favourite food is sushi (especially salmon and scallop sushi). I think spring is the most beautiful season in Japan...autumn comes close, but spring is my favourite.

I collect tarot card decks and natural crystals. I have more books than my shelves can contain, so you could say I have quite a collection of books too. I have a small collection of postcards but now that I'm postcrossing, my collection should be growing soon!

A friend introduced me to postcrossing and I must admit that I love the thought of connecting with people from all over the world and am really looking forward to receiving actual hand-written postcards.

I love postcards with pictures of :

- cats, dogs, owls, rabbits, little frogs, ladybirds or butterflies
- the natural landscape of your country (especially forests and mountains)
- your culture (local food, national/ traditional clothes, handicraft, festivals, etc)
- the works of your local artists or any colorful work of art
- the 4 seasons
- rainbows
- aurora borealis
- clouds (I take pictures of clouds all the time)
- houses, farms, castles and vineyards

If this list is too specific,(>_<)

But as much as I look forward to a pretty postcard, I really appreciate the message that comes with it. So if you could, please tell me something about yourself, or a little something about the postcard or why you picked it. You could just describe the weather that day, or what you just had for lunch! Anything you feel like saying really...I look forward to reading it.
