About Absolutunen...

I do read and write several languages but my spoken skills are somewhat more limited. I can't for example communicate fluently in Danish as the pronunciation is a bit too exotic for my brain. Surely some practice would help but since nobody here speaks it, that's not really an option. But as long as you write on postcard and don't do anything eccentric like sending a voice mail on an sd card attached to it, I believe I can manage just fine.

My hobbies are collecting several different items. Things like tea bag envelopes, fashion dolls, postcards (I bet you knew that one already) and books, to name a few. I also spend lot of time by my computer playing games, both single and multiplayer, and apart from this all I try to have enough time for my significant other and our daughter. Oh, and our two cats and five dogs.

My favorite type of postcard is one showing some kind of landscape, building or a monument in your vicinity but I naturally do accept other cards as well. My daughter collects postcards with animals on them, preferably dogs, so those are also more than welcome.

The only thing I really dislike with passion is propaganda, so if you can avoid it, please do not send any postcards telling how some other country should be a part of yours or how some other nation is one way or another below yours. I can assure you I wouldn't buy that claim.

Also feel free to send the postcard inside an envelope if you like, I have no objections whatsoever. In some cases the card actually arrives in better condition that way. But again, it's totally up to you, either way is fine.

You don't have to write anything on the postcards if you don't feel like it, and you can write your entire life story if that rocks your boat. Most basic things about your country I can find in Wikipedia anyway so that's not a problem. If you wish to have actual contacts and exchange ideas and opinions, I suggest some other medium. Facebook perhaps? New friend requests welcome but please bear in mind that no hate speech of any kind will be tolerated.
