We are children of the class 1a at our Elementary School Schulstraße in Herne.
Our hometown has about 160.000 inhabitants and is situated in North Rhine-Westphalia in the middle of the Ruhr region, the biggest agglomeration in Germany.

Not long ago we have started our postcrossing-project with the help of our class teacher and we´re eagerly looking forward to get wonderful cards from all over the world.
We´re going to read many different postcards, do handicrafts, paint, but above all write!

Because we´ve recently started with reading & writing, we would like to ask you to write properly and in blockletters.
If you speak German, please use the language - so that we can read your message ourselves.
Of course you are also invited to write in English: Our teacher will translate it to us!
Please consider when you select a motif, that we are children at the age of 6 or 7.
You can also write us beyond the post crossing project to support children´s education.
