2AClass

We are a class of secondary education in The Netherlands. We are between 14 and 15 years old. We have 5 girls and 7 boys in our class. We also have two mentors.

We live in the city of Groningen. The city is in the North of the Netherlands. Amsterdam is our capital. We have a lot of historical buildings and lots of canals. We live below the sea level and we have a king and a queen, named Willem Alexander and Maxima. We live in a tolerant society and we like that. We have drinkable water everywhere, even to water the garden or flush the toilet.

Because we live below sea level we have very strong dykes and we work together with the Belgians on strong water management. We had a natural disaster in 1953, because the dykes weren't strong enough then.

The school building was built in 1923 by a famous architect. During world war II it was used as a hospital. It is a monument and in the staircase we have a famous painting by Van der Zee.
We are a school for pupils with learning problems and some other problems.
