Hi Postcrossers!

I am Marlies, I am 26 years old and currently writing my master's thesis (American Studies). After I graduate, who knows what I'll do? Exciting! I have always loved sending and receiving postcards. Opening your mailbox and finding a personal piece of mail is such a nice feeling!

My greatest passion is (making) music. I have played the violin for 15 years and have sung in choirs since I was 7. I mainly sing classical music in chamber choirs, but I also like choirs that try out new, experimental music that goes beyond the 'traditional' classical music. I love listening to all sorts of music (rock, pop, classical, 80s stuff, singer-songwriters, name it!). I would therefore love to get postcards that have a musical theme.

My other interests are reading, watching television series (the Big Bang Theory, Gilmore Girls, Modern Family, Star Trek, Sherlock, and many more), animals (I have an adorable cuddly cat), doing yoga, meditating, walking in nature and having coffee with friends and family. I also enjoy a nice philosophical or political discussion ;). And I would also love to see more of the world and of where you're coming from, so please tell me about your country/city/culture :)!
