Hi,

I’m Dimitri from Hamburg, Germany – and I’m 27 years old.
Although I grew up in Germany, I am Greek by birth and was educated bilingual (Greek and German). I love languages!!!
I am an avid seeker of cultural and artistic knowledge and I’m also a big fan of Music, Philosophy, Psychology, Literature, Photography, Architecture, Fine Arts, good Design and everything else which is considered as beautiful.

I love to write, to draw, to cook, to read books and to play piano.

I know it’s hard to write to a stranger, however feel free to tell me whatever you like to.

But please... don't send me purely postcards without anything written in it, only with "Happy postcrossing!" and the id.

Maybe you want to share your whim/ quirk with me or an embarrasing situation, than just do it ;)

Take me for instance, whenever I'm in a car alone, I sing out loud or whenever I’m ordering a coffee, I want it mostly in a paper cup... strange, isn't it?

Or Maybe you would like to tell me:
- a secret
- things that makes you happy
- your dreams and wishes (which places would you like to see or things you like to do?)
- write about your favourite book and why I should read it!

So, thank you very much for sending me a postcard. It is much appreciated.

If you are wondering which types of postcards I like the most, here is the list:

1 – Black and White photography and vintage photography .

2 - Nature, sunrises, sunsets, the moon, waves, beaches, trees.

3 - Anything which is typical for your place (cities, towns, places, or buildings, especially at night (night views - my favorite!).

6 - monuments and Unesco site!!!

7 - Self portraits (of you ;))

6 - Modern Art/ Street Art (Antony Micallef - MY FAVORITE, Bansky, Conor Harrington, David Choe, Ian Francis, Sage Vaughn, Stanley Donwood, Vhils).

7 – Popular paintings (Edward Hopper, Klimt, Hundertwasser, Salvador Dali, Modigliani, Van Gogh, Jack Vettriano, C.D. Friedrich, William Turner, Franz Marc, Renoir, Matisse, Picasso, Lichtenstein, Gauguin, Monet, Da Vinci, Marc Chagall,...).

8- or maybe something that is special to you!

The list above is not in any way a demand; it is solely intended to help you pick a better match, should you have the luxury of choosing which card to send. If you do not have any of these cards, then naturally I will cheerfully accept and register your selection when it arrives.

I would probably not prefer a Free Ad Card, Folded Greeting Card, Smartphone (Online) Postcard. If you have the option, please send these types of cards to another member who will enjoy them more than I would.
