The caption on this postcard says that it shows chestnut trees blooming on Sobormiy Avenue, but it does not identify the city. I sincerely hope that the lovely trees, the dignified buildings, and most of all, the sender of the card, are still there. So much has been lost in the past few months and years. I hope that healing and recovery can start SOON. |

This is the Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia. God and the armed forces of Ukraine still keep it |

Zaporizhzhia (just heard a Ukrainian spokesperson mention the city by name on the radio today) is not far from the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, which is still held by non-Ukrainian troops. May all in the city and the world be safe from any damage to this nuclear generator. |
