The Mae West Room is one of the most popular in the Dalí Theater-Museum. In it we can see the three-dimensional portrait of the famous actress, represented by precisely located pieces of furniture. The idea of the room arises from the wash on newspaper "Face of Mae West usable as a living room" (1935). Determined to carry it out architecturally, Dalí got in touch with the architect Oscar Tusquets and together they collaborated to make this surreal dream come true. |
