One of the oldest buildings in the city of Ulyanovsk - the extraordinary beauty of the Holy Resurrection-German Cathedral with a peculiar architectural and artistic composition, built at the beginning of the 18th century on the site of a chapel dedicated to the memory of the meeting of the icon of St. Herman of Kazan with a particle of his relics; rebuilt in 1877-1879.
