The State nature reserve "Stolby" a pearl of siberian nature - a reserve in the Krasnoyarsk Kray on the northwestern spurs of the Eastern Sayan - is one of the oldest reserves in Russia. It was founded in 1925 for to preserve natural complexes around the picturesque syenite remnants - “pillars”. Its area is 47,219 ha.
