Holy Cross Cathedral was built in the russian-byzantine style (1905-1913), the largest church in the Middle Urals, the third largest in Russia, after the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow and St. Isaac's Cathedral in St. Petersburg. In the cathedral rest the relics of St. Simeon Verkhotursky.
