My goodness, this photo certainly reinforces the image of the super-clean Dutch housewife, no matter what the century. I almost feel as if I can smell the fresh air as I listen to the laundry flap in the breeze. I wonder, though, where the photo was taken. In Vriesland, perhaps? The card doesn't say.
