Zwarte Piet (Black Peter) can be also white!

Yes! There is a lot of discussies lately, Zwarte Piet may offend people with dark skin color because Zwarte Piet is a knight of Sinterklaas (they see him as kind of a slave of Sinterklaas...) but lot of people also say he is black because Piet comes through the chimney.

Anyway lot of Dutch people say Zwarte Piet should stays black. Because it is 'Zwarte' Piet and a tradition...
But also lot of Dutch people don't mind if Piet turns white or blue or green or rainbow colored or polka dotted... :-)).

I think people just have to get used to the idea that Piet still will be Piet, even though he is not always black colored... Anyway, I love Piet. No matter if he is black or any other color... As it will not become a Smurf! LOL
