De Hef is the popular name for the Koninghavenbrug, a former railway bridge that linked Noordereiland to the district of Feijenoord. De Hef is a vertical-lift bridge, and was the first bridge of its kind in Western Europe. In 1993 the railway was rerouted through the Willemsspoortunnel and De Hef is no longer operational.
