The translation was on the back of the postcard, of course, but since you ask so nicely. ;-)))

"Mokuchsdag" (literally translated: liquorice day - I absolutely don't know where that comes from!) is the Luxembourgish equivalent of the day "when pigs learn how to fly", or also "when the cows come home", "the twelfth of never".

"Dat ass fir Mokuchsdag" (~That's going to happen on liquorice day~) means that something is never going to happen. Another way of saying "I'll believe it when I see it."
