This card depicts the icons of Jeju island. Dol hareubang, Hanyeo, Horse, tangerine, camellia, and rapeseed flower.

The statue in the middle is Dol hareubang. It is the most important symbol of Jeju. You can see it everywhere in the island.

The left woman is a Haenyeo(woman diver). Traditionally the labor of women is very important in Jeju Hanyeo dives and collects seafood like shells.

A horse is a representative animal of Jeju. Horses have been raised since prehistoric age. The most of Korea is not suitable for horse breeding, but Jeju is good for. Jeju horse is based on the mixture of Korean and Mongolian horses. They are small but tough and endurable.

The delicous tangerine is the most important product of Jeju. Because it is a subtropical crop, it does not grow well in other parts of Korea. So many farmers make money with it.

Camellia and rapeseed are much grown in Jeju. People loves their beauty. They are also economic because both can produce seed oil.
