Petra Slobodnjak was born in 1988 in Bjelovar. In 2012 graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Arts, University of Zagreb, a study of graphics product design. Since 2014 Petra is working as a freelance and graphic designer and photographer. Her photography was exhibited as 6 solo and about 20 group exhibitions. For her “Sale” project, which was originally displayed at the ULUPUH Gallery, she was recognized by the Croatian Association of designers in the category of Conceptual initiative/Critique design at the Exhibition of Croatian Design 1718. Since 2013 she is a member of the Croatian Association of Artists of Applied Arts (ULUPUH) multimedia and intermedia section and the photography section since 2017. In 2009 she became a member of the Croatian Designers Association (HDD). She is the official photographer of the National Folk Dance Ensemble of Croatia LADO (since 2016).
