I took this picture personally and made it into a postcard - it was backed with card and I bought postcard stamps to make it look genuine. The recipient didn't even say thank you. Just that she is "Disappointed it's not even a postcard" wow!

I would also be disappointed

I guess I need to make sure I don't ever send to anyone in your area then if no one can appreciate the time and effort that went into this. How extremely rude of both of you! I spent more money on this than I would've done on a postcard from a shop!

I think you are not right saying that no one in our area can appreciate the time and effort. We appreciate all postcards we receive.
Happy postcrossing!

no matter how nice a picture would be, it will never be a real postcard. And this picture is just ugly...

I think this is an intriguing photocard - it is well-composed, and an interesting subject matter. One of my favorite things in Postcrossing is to receive a card created by the sender!

I think it looks great and I would love to receive this card. It looks as good as any card and the photograph is beautiful.
If it is a photo glued to card it isn't a "real" postcard and I wouldn't send it to people who don't want handmade cards. It is still lovely and many people would be glad to receive it.
If it is one piece then no one should have anything to complain about, it is as good as store bought.

Great picture! Could be from a museum. In Hamburg/Germany we have a museum of Art and crafts which exhibits photographies of this kind. I studied Art History, and my sister is an artist based in Glasgow, so I know what I'm talking about.
