UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Rammelsberg ore mine and the old town of Goslar were declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1992. On 1 August 2010, the Oberharzer Wasserwirtschaft (Upper Harz Water Management) was also added to the list of cultural and natural heritage sites, thus expanding the "Rammelsberg Mine and Old Town of Goslar" World Heritage Site. |
