This is a wonderful preliminary sketch from the Walt Disney film "Dumbo" (1941). Like Dumbo, I have huge ears, so I have always found his story to be both comforting and inspirational. Thanks to Norbert, the sender of the postcard, for making me smile every time I look at this drawing—a real respite from these tough and troubling times.
