Foshan, rarely in Cantonese Fatshan (Chinese 佛山市, pinyin Fóshān shì, Jyutping Fat6saan1 Si5 - "Buddha Mountain") is a prefecture-level city in southern China's Guangdong Province. It is located in the Pearl River Delta, only about 20 km from Guangdong's metropolis Guangzhou and is one of the nine cities in Guangdong that are part of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
