It's too warm here! The Winter Festival is going to start next weekend on Feb 2nd and there is no thick ice on the Rideau Canal (lower bottom left photo) which is deemed safe enough for people to skate on. They opened it for one day early in the week but then the day and night temperatures have been hovering around 0 or above - so they closed it 1.5 days after they opened it.
